Where are you located?

We are in downtown Oberlin on route 58, just south of the town square, at 23 S. Main Street, Oberlin, OH 44074.  We do have stairs at our front door so if you're bringing a bike to be worked on, use our back door.  You can get to the back parking lot off of E. College street, just east of the Apollo theater.  Enter the parking lot for the Apollo and bank and follow it around to our building.  We have an orange door.

What kind of bikes do you have?

We carry primarily Trek and Electra brand bicycles. We have electric bikes, road bikes, mountain bikes, hybrid bikes, touring bikes, cruiser bikes, gravel bikes, and kids bikes. We also carry used bikes, adult tricycles, Sun Bicycles low-step bikes, and We the People BMX bikes.

Do you fix bikes?

Absolutely, we love fixing bikes! Our full service repair shop can help you with anything from a flat tire to a complete overhaul of your bicycle.

Do you sell E-bikes?

Yes, we do!  We have a healthy inventory of Electra Townie and Cruiser E-bikes as well as a few Trek E-bikes.

Do you ship bikes?

Are you moving, or taking your bike on a trip? No problem! We will professionally box your bike and ship it to your destination.

Are you connected to Swerve Bike Shop?

No. Swerve Bike Shop is permanently closed. We are a new bike shop with a different owner. We are operating out of the same location, and did purchase some of the contents of the previous bike shop.

Who’s running the bike shop?

The shop is owned by Randy Houston, an Oberlin resident and experienced bike mechanic.

Are you hiring?

Yes!  If you’re interested, send a cover letter resume to   Let us know why you love bikes and any experience you have working on them.

What is your return policy?

*Return policy on general merchandise is 30 days on unused items.
*Bontrager/Trek branded merchandise is 30 days used or unused.
*No returns on special orders that are not Bontrager/Trek brand.
*Bicycles have a 2 week return window, with a $50 restocking fee after that.  Bicycles are subject to an inspection before a return is accepted.

Do you offer gift cards?

Yes!  We can do gift cards in person, by phone, through paypal or Klarna.

How long can I leave my bike for repairs?

Once you've been contacted by email, text, voicemail, or by phone, you have 30 days to pick up your bike, or we reserve the right to sell it for the cost of repairs.

How do I get warranty work done?

If you own a Trek or Electra brand bike, you have a lifetime warranty on the frame, and a 2 year manufacturers defect warranty on parts.  Bring your bike in and we can warranty any eligible parts.  If you'd like us to do the repair work, usual labor fees apply.

Do you hold bikes for pickup?

We hold bikes with a $50 non-refundable down payment.  You have 10 days to pickup the bike.  After that your down payments is converted into store credit.
